About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Corporate Compliance Specialist to join our dynamic team in Malta and support our corporate governance and regulatory functions. This role is ideal for someone with experience in company formations, corporate filings, and compliance requirements in Malta and Cyprus.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure corporate compliance with Malta Business Registry (MBR) regulations and Cyprus corporate laws.
- Handle the formation, structuring, and liquidation of entities across multiple jurisdictions.
- Prepare and submit statutory filings, including annual returns, directorship changes, and share transfers.
- Liaise with Corporate Service Providers (CSPs), regulatory authorities, and legal advisors.
- Conduct compliance checks on corporate structures and assist in due diligence processes.
- Maintain company registers and ensure corporate records are always up to date.
- Assist in drafting corporate governance policies, resolutions, and agreements.
- Monitor regulatory updates in Malta and Cyprus to ensure timely compliance.
- Prepare and coordinate Annual General Meetings (AGMs), including drafting notices, minutes, and resolutions.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in corporate compliance, company formation, or corporate governance.
- Previous experience working in a Corporate Service Provider (CSP) or a similar regulatory role.
- Strong knowledge of MBR regulations in Malta and corporate laws in Cyprus.
- Experience handling company formations, structuring, and liquidation processes.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Strong communication skills to liaise with legal and regulatory bodies.
